Into voice chat and games
Sounds go to your speakers and through a virtual microphone to your friends, each with its own volume.
Free soundboard for Windows
Resound plays sounds into Discord, games and any voice chat, and to your own speakers. Your phone is the remote: scan a code, tap a button, done.
Paired with your PC.
One small program, no admin rights. The guided setup picks your speakers, adds your sound folders and sets up the virtual cable for voice chat.
Resound shows a QR code. Your camera opens this app, and it pairs with your PC on its own.
Add it to your home screen, straight from the browser. It opens fullscreen, keeps the screen on and reconnects to your PC by itself.
Built for playing sounds while you game or talk, without tabbing out.
Sounds go to your speakers and through a virtual microphone to your friends, each with its own volume.
Tabs you swipe through, favorites, colours and emoji for every sound, custom layouts, progress bars, stop and pause. Works on phones, tablets or a second screen.
Search every tab at once, or filter by colour. Tap the search button or pull down with two fingers. Your sounds are only a second away.
Drag folders in so each one becomes a tab of sound effects. MP3, WAV, FLAC and OGG. Rename and move files at will, while Resound keeps track of things.
Drag a sound from Myinstants or Sound Buttons World directly into your folders. Resound takes care of the import.
A live diagram on your PC shows your mic and sounds flowing to what you hear and what others hear, with level meters. Anything missing is marked, with its fix.
While a sound plays, Resound can mute your microphone and hold your game's push-to-talk key. "Talk through" lets you speak any time.
Hold a key to pause the sounds and talk on another channel, or hit a stop key for when shit hits the fan.
A guided setup installs VB-Cable for you. Updates and backups take one click each.
On your PC
Resound's PC controls draw your audio exactly as it flows: from your microphone and the soundboard to what you and your friends hear.
Connections light up with the signal and live meters show you what your friends will hear you before you join a call.
A muted mic, push-to-talk keys held, playback paused: Resound shows it right on the cables as it happens.
If something isn't connected or a microphone is muted, you'll see exactly what's wrong and where. Click it and Resound takes you to the fix.
No account, no cloud, no telemetry, no ads. Your sounds never leave your PC.
Your phone talks straight to your PC over your own network, end-to-end encrypted.
A tap reaches your PC within milliseconds over your Wi-Fi, and the sound starts right away.
Open source under the GPL-3.0. No store, no subscription, nothing to unlock.
This website only delivers the app. Everything after that happens between your phone and your PC.
The app is a set of files that your browser loads once from this site and keeps. Installed, it starts from your phone, even without internet, and only checks here for updates.
The QR code holds your PC's local address and a one-time code. They come after the # in the link, the part a browser never sends to any website.
The app connects to your PC with WebRTC, the technology behind video calls, but without any server in between. The connection is encrypted and checked against your PC's certificate from the QR code.
Your sounds, library and settings never leave it. The phone only sends which button you pressed, and only phones you paired can connect.
Open the Sound library on your PC and drag a sound's name from either site onto one of your folders. Resound downloads it there, warns if you have it already, and lets you preview, rename or discard it right away. It shows up on your phone at once. Sound files from Explorer work too, and subfolders now become tabs of their own.
The app can now search every tab at once: type part of a name, the letters in order or even a typo, and pick a colour to narrow it down. The redesigned app also brings a sliding tab bar that follows your swipes, a live preview of a button while you edit it, and help on screen when your PC can't be reached.
The phone remote became an app you install from this page. It connects straight to your PC, encrypted, keeps the screen on, runs fullscreen and starts even without internet.
Install Resound on your PC, then scan its code with your phone.
Windows may warn about a new download ("Windows protected your PC"): choose More info, then Run anyway.
